LEARNING TO LIVE WITH LOSS
This is an eight-week support group for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one, no matter how recently. The workshop provides a safe environment where you can share your feelings and experiences in a supportive group setting, while receiving expert insights and advice.
“When somebody first comes to see me and they’re grieving it’s kind of like I see a branch, and they come in and there’s this branch. But over time you start to see a bud come off of that branch, and then you get to see that bud bloom.
And when somebody first comes in and they feel like there’s no blooming, there’s ‘not going to be anymore life ahead of me or any joy ahead of me or I’m not going to be able to do these things, I’m not going to be able to celebrate a Christmas again or go to this house or go on this outing because my grief is so profound.’ To see that change over time is invaluable.”
