New Village volunteers, Anne McMinn and Jan Bradley have “hit the ground running”. Both have driven Village members to doctor’s appointments and shopping. Both have helped one of our members organize her home. It is such a blessing to know that when a member has a need, our volunteers are ready to step up. There are now 18 vetted Village volunteers on our Team and several more are going through the screening process.
Volunteering for the Village is very flexible. There are no set hours of service required. Our volunteers lead busy lives but respond to our outreach when they are available. This system works well for them and for our members.
